It is crucial that plastic manufacturers
know the melt flow index rate of materials before they send them for
processing. PolyPlast MFI Testers accurately determine the rate of
extrusion of molten plastic through an orifice of specified dimensions,
under prescribed conditions of temperature and load at timed
measurement. A digital temperature controller and a digital
stopwatch are fitted on the tester. The orifice is made of tungsten

or break when a certain amount of impact is exerted on them. polyplast izod Impact Testers are designed to measure the impact energy required to
break notched specimens (thicker plastics) of definite shape and size,
when placed at the maximum velocity point of swinging weighted
pendulum. The rise angle of the pendulum can be read over a scale or
displayed automatically on a digital indicator. (Both models are

DART IMPACT TESTER PDR -

Plastic packages tend to be
dropped while being handled or moved. PolyPlast Dart Impact Testers
determine the energy that causes plastic films to fail under specified
conditions of impact. The test is carried out by dropping a
free-falling dart with a diameter suitable for the type of film. The
dart, having a hemispherical head, is dropped from varying heights
depending upon the range of application of the dart missile's weight for
the particular type of film. The dart is dropped automatically by
pressing a button. A magnetic vice holds the film tightly ensuring
that there is no slippage. (Standard ASTM D-1709) |

Compression Tester :-
To measure the ability of
package to withstand the compression resistance. Various models available
as per IS 7028 ( part 6 & 9 ), ISO 2872. The tester is consist
of moving plate, Geared motor, Microprocessor based digital
indicator, force applied will be indicated digitally and
movement ( compression) also will be indicated . |

deflection Tester / Vicat softening Point Apparatus as per ASTM D 1525
& D648 . To determine the deflection temperature & softening point
of the specimen, different models available with different no of stations.
It consist of a bath , which is having stainless steel made of inner body
and an outer body fCRCA. The temperature controller will increase
temperature in Ramp Rate Rise System . |
